Tymek's Juice - Package Design
As part of a contracted design opportunity with Katika Integrated Communications Inc., I was tasked with designing packaging for a new Tymek's product. Tymek's is a Polish homemade pickle brand and they were looking to expand their target market through a new product line - Raw Pickle Juice. Their goal is to attract a younger consumer base that would enjoy the health benefits of taking a shot of their juice. My job as the designer was to ensure that the packaging appealed to this younger audience.
The Raw Juice line also expanded to include Beet and Sauer Kraut Juice, so I had to ensure that the design could be tweaked to fit different products within the line, while remaining cohesive in design structure/appearance.
Final Thoughts...
I will say that seeing something that I designed on a store shelf was really exciting!
These products are currently being sold at Starsky's, as well as various European Food Markets across Ontario.
Overall this project taught me the various stages and considerations that go into package design out in the real world!
