Lawn Summer Nights

For my first professional graphic design job, I was hired as the Graphic Design Coordinator for Lawn Summer Nights - a not-for-profit with the goal of raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis. Each year they run lawn bowling events across Ontario; however with the lockdowns of COVID-19, they decided to switch things up towards the end of 2020.

The Holiday Shop

One of my main responsibilities included designing Cystic Fibrosis / Lawn Bowling merchandise to be purchased at the LSN Holiday Shop. Each week I would design new products to be featured in the shop.

Holiday Trivia

Since Lawn Bowling events for that year were put on hold, Lawn Summer Nights held a virtual trivia night as another way to help raise funds for their charity. I was tasked with creating the branding for this event as well as the animated transitions played during the livestream.

I also designed a "Brain Break" game to give participants a rest from playing the trivia game. This one was quite the hit!

Final Thoughts...

Having the opportunity to work for this charity is an experience I will treasure. It was rewarding knowing that my designs were going towards a good cause that would help others impacted by Cystic Fibrosis.
