Catelli Brand Refresh
The Project
For my third year Package Design course, I was given the task of refreshing the brand identity and logo for a product. I chose to refresh the brand for Catelli pasta, as I felt they had a strong history involving creating the first pasta plant in Canada in 1867. I wanted to ensure that history got represented through their logo and package design through graphic elements and photography which reflect handmade and quality production.
Package Design
I chose to keep their blue colour scheme to ensure brand recognition. I also used photography which reflects hand-made pasta, to reflect Catelli's commitment towards distributing quality products to Canadian families since 1867.

Line Extensions
I was also given the task during my Package Design course to design the extensions of the brand as well. I chose to design one of them being their Super Green pasta which implements spinach into the pasta.

I also designed the front packaging for Whole Wheat pasta as my second line extension.

For my final project of the semester, I was given the task of re-designing all-panels of the original packaging for Catelli spaghetti.
